3 If the jammed paper cannot be removed in
Step 2, return lever 2e to its original position
(1). Open lever 2e, turn knob 2c
counterclockwise (2), and then remove the
jammed paper.
Note • If the paper is torn, make sure no piece of
paper remains inside the machine.
4 Close lever 2f or 2e (1), and push in tri-fold
output tray 2d (2).
5 Close the finisher right cover.
Note • A message will be displayed and the machine will not operate if the right cover of the finisher
is even slightly open.
Paper Jams at Tri-fold Output Tray 2d and Lever 2g
1 Make sure that the machine is not operating,
and open the right cover of the finisher.
2 Pull out tri-fold output tray 2d (1), open lever
2g (2), and remove the jammed paper.
Note • If the paper is torn, make sure no piece of
paper remains inside the machine.
3 Return lever 2g to its original position (1),
and push in tri-fold output tray 2d (2).
4 Close the finisher right cover.
Note • A message will be displayed and the machine will not operate if the right cover of the finisher
is even slightly open.
