4.6.4. Collimator Check and Calibration
Collimator Check:
In application interface, perform below procedure to check the collimator status.
1. Install BAFT on the I.I. and take exposure in Normal Fluoro and ABS
mode and adjust the BAFT to make BAFT center is match the display
center (≤3mm, between BAFT and cross mark). and center it on the
image.
2. Set the system in Auto Technique mode and Auto Brightness/Contrast
mode to perform below check.
3. Check the accuracy of collimator preview:
a. Switch between Normal mode/Mag1/Mag2. The leaves of
Iris/Shutter are out of image. (No include the country with
special regulation, eg. Germany).
b. Minimum position of Iris/Shutter is in 50mm*50mm square of BAFT.
c. Press the Close/Open/Rotation (for shutter) button of Iris/Shutter on mainframe control panel
from maximum to minimum to see the preview line moving smoothly. Randomly select a
position record the preview line and then take exposure, the difference between preview line
and real Iris/Shutter leaves shall less than15mm/10degree(for shutter rotation).
4. If system can’t pass the check, perform the collimator calibration again.
Collimator Calibration:
Position the C-arm with Image Intensifier up and Monoblock down.
Login Administration interface with service authority. In “Calibration” Tab, click “Collimator calibration”
button and follow the calibraiton wizard to do collimator calibration.
Please strictely follow below procedure to perform collimator calibration, exposure and
move Iris/shuter to right position , step 2/3/4/7/8/9 need adjust Iris/Shutter leaves just
out of circular mask, according to the calibration Wizard, then fill in reading value,
otherwise can result in error# 0112501.
