THOR Access Control
October 1, 1995 18-006/081-04 GB
26
33 - Set/unset status Set/unset status from an alarm unit in cases where the alarm panel is
placed
outside
the secured area. If the alarm unit is set, the access unit
is blocked and a text line appears in the display.
Cannot be used in
ERC-mode option bit 6 (external reader heads).
34 - Set/unset status Set/unset status from an alarm unit in cases where the alarm panel is
placed
inside
the secured area. If the alarm system is set, the access
unit will not be blocked as for softtype 33. However, a message appears
to draw the users attention to the fact that the alarm system must be
unset after entry. The message must be confirmed prior to activating the
striking plate.
Cannot be used in ERC-mode option bit 6 (external
reader heads).
35 - Set/unset return signal Set/unset signal from an alarm system which is controlled (set/unset) via
an S-ART output (softtype 75). The signal must go high within 10 sec.
from the setting time. If not the reader will give a Set fault text in the
display. Set and unset will be logged in the reader log.
Cannot be used
in ERC-mode option bit 6 (external reader heads).
36 - Alarm input Softtype follows input. When softtype is active the text "ALARMS" will be
shown in the display together with the text "DOOR OPEN". Shift from
passive to active will be logged as alarm. The Service card can be used
with low priority without the users permission as long as the softtype is
active.
37 - Global door control This input softtype can be used in several different applications, where it
is needed to remotely open one or more doors (f.ex. from a fire alarm
panel). If the input programmed as input softtype 37 changes status to
active, a message is send out broadcast to all readers and all readers
with the below equation will open the door.
The input softtypes must be included in an IF/THEN equation f.ex. 95 =
37 + 80, where the output softtype 95 is programmed for the S-ART,
which controls the electric striking plate for the door. The door will then be
opened in two cases: Reading a card (normal door access) o r when
softtype 37 is active.
38 - Global door control Function like softtype 37. It is by the two softtypes possible to create two
groups of doors by two different IF/THEN equations using the two
softtypes.
39 - Door control by zone Function like softtype 37/38, but the softtype 39 works only locally in the
zone where the reader is installed.
40 - Exit push button 1 door 2 Exit push button to open door 2 (with or without interlocking functions)
inside the interlock without a door forced alarm. A change from inactive to
active will pursue the output softtype 84 (striking plate door 2) to activate
and a message is logged. A n.o. or n.c. impulse button can be used.
41 - Exit push button 2 door 2 Exit push button to open door 2 (with interlocking functions) from inside
without a door forced alarm. A change from inactive to active will pursue
the output softtype 84 (striking plate door 2) to activate and a message is
logged. A n.o. or n.c. impulse button can be used.
