5.7 Fluid distributor connections
To cool the inside of the tool, certain versions are fitted with a rotary fluid distributor (or can be
fitted with one by the user).
These products may have distributor drainage holes, useful in the case of anomalies or excess
pressure or excess liquid flow.
To connect the distributor pre-installed by the manufacturer, or to fit a distributor (the responsibility
of the user), refer to the dimensional drawings of your own electrospindle and the documentation
provided by the distributor manufacturer.
Always check that the maximum permitted values for the fluid distributor are
compatible with the maximum permitted values for the electrospindle that uses it.
Connection examples
The example diagram shown in the figure is a possible layout for the coolant fluid circuit inside the
tool and for the automatic cone cleaning air.
The circuits proposed are indicative only.
In normal applications, the valves (
5) are open in mutually exclusive mode, i.e. never at the
same time: one is opened only when the other has already closed. Other procedures are not
excluded, but must be carefully evaluated by the application designer.
