Front Frame Assembly
Removal
1. Remove the instrument outer case. Refer to the Instrument Outer Case
removal procedure.
2. If Option EXM, External Mixing, is installed, disconnect the semi-rigid
cable connection (2) on the LO/IF cable.
3. Refer to Figure 15-87. Using the T-10 driver, remove the eight screws (1),
four on each side, to detach the Front Frame Assembly from the chassis.

Make sure any connectors on the front panel are removed.
If the analyzer has Option PRC, Portable Configuration, and you want to remove the bail handle
and bumpers from the front frame, refer to the “Bail Handle Removal (Option PRC)”
section on page 575.
