2. Turn the engine off and check the
engine oil level (For more details,
refer to Engine oil on page
8-46). If the level is low, slowly
pour the recommended oil little by
little into a funnel (Oil refill capaci‐
ty: approximately 0.6 ~ 1.6 l).
Use only the specified engine oil
(Refer to Recommended lubricants
and capacities on page 9-15).
Do not overfill the engine oil to en‐
sure the oil level is not above F
mark on the dipstick.
If the warning light remains on af‐
ter adding oil or if oil is not availa‐
ble, we recommend that you have
the vehicle inspected by an author‐
ized Kia dealer as soon as possible.
NOTICE
• If you travel approximately
50 km ~ 100 km after the engine
warms up, after adding the engine
oil, the warning light will go off
(for Gasoline engine).

• Open and close the hood (Diesel
engine only), or cycle the ignition
from OFF to ON 3 times within 10
seconds, the warning light will go
off immediately. However, when
you turn off the warning light
without adding the engine oil, the
light will come on again after trav‐
eling approximately 50 ~ 100 km
after the engine warms up.
Low fuel level warning
light
This warning light illumi‐
nates:
When the fuel tank is nearly empty.
If the fuel tank is nearly empty:
Add fuel as soon as possible.

Driving with the low fuel level warn‐
ing light on or with the fuel level be‐
low 0 or E can cause the engine to
misfire and damage the catalytic
converter (if equipped).
Low tire pressure
warning light (if
equipped)
This warning light illumi‐
nates:
• Once you set the ignition switch or
Engine Start/Stop Button to the ON
position.
- It illuminates for approximately 3
seconds and then goes off.
• When one or more of your tires are
significantly underinflated (The loca‐
tion of the underinflated tires are
displayed on the LCD display).
