Stopping the gasoline engine/diesel
engine (Manual Transaxle)
1. Make sure the vehicle is completely
stopped and keep the clutch pedal
and brake pedal depressed
2. Shift the transaxle into Neutral
while depressing the clutch pedal
and brake pedal.
3. Engage the parking brake while de‐
pressing the brake pedal.
4. Turn the ignition key to the LOCK
position and remove it.
