8 QUICK REFERENCE AND FAQ
8.1 EQUIPMENT
How do I check that all equipment is connected?
Check equipment connection in one of two ways:
a. The equipment’s LED lights provide indication of the device’s status. Refer to the LED Lights on page 27
for a
table listing LED light status.
b. Open the Device Manager and verify that connections are enabled. Refer to the Icon Indicators section on
page 28.
How do I lock/unlock the wheels on the cart or tabletop?
To lock the wheels, press down on the lever with the bottom of your foot (Figure 116).
To unlock, push the lever up from underneath with the top of your foot.
Remember! To prevent injury to the patient always lock all wheels before beginning
testing procedures.

How do I adjust the height of the cart shelf?
CAUTION! Remove any items (laptop, etc.) from the shelf before making height adjustments.
• Loosen the black knob located underneath the shelf counter-clockwise to enable height adjustment.
• Adjust as needed and then tighten the knob firmly when desired height is reached to secure the shelf in place.
How do I know when I need to charge the devices?
The equipment’s LED lights as well as the Device Manager window indicate equipment status. Refer to the LED Lights on
page 27 for a table listing LED light status. It will take approximately 5 hours to fully charge the device.
IMPORTANT: As soon as you see the blinking orange LED on either the Urocap™ IV or the UDS Roam™, plug in the
device’s charger to avoid losing connection to the system.
How do I charge the devices?
See the Battery - CHARGING and Preventative Maintenance section on page 10 for information about charging the devices.
Can I still use the device(s) while the battery is charging?
Yes, the Urocap™ IV and the UDS Roam™ can still be used while charging.
