Modem removal
1. Disconnect the modem cable (A) from CN U14 on the RIP board.
2. Loosen the two screws (B) that secure the modem to the RIP cage.
3. Pull the modem up and inward to remove it from the cage.
Papertray lift motor removal
1. Remove the HVU. See “HVPS removal” on page 4-111.
2. Remove the rear fan. See.“Rear fan” on page 4-102.
