LH71A / LH72
(E) 5-19
5-6. Scaling
This can compensate for material shrinkage at the entered magnification and convert to die dimensions.
Display value = Entered magnification × Actual moving distance
(Example)
Enter 0.980000 for an operation with an expected shrinkage rate of 2 %.
Note
Set the scaling magnification to 1.000000 or so.
Since the values which can be displayed while scaling is being used are displayed in increments of the
display resolution multiplied by the scaling magnification, the higher the scaling value, the larger the fractions
which cannot be displayed: this is something that may give the user the wrong impression that the LH71A/
LH72 has malfunctioned.
