Chapter 15. Internal Eects
This chapter describes the internal eects of the HD96-24. Initially, it explains how to use the surface and GUI to operate the eects and then details all of their
available control functions and their use.
Eects overview
Eects can be assigned in two main ways. Either by adding in a channel or in the Eects rack. They can be used as an insert on any path or patched via an Aux send and
returned to a channel of your choice. For example, this can be used to send several paths to the same reverb. Up to 24 DSP slots are available and eects are assigned
dependant on their DSP value. For example, many eects can have many instances in an Eect slot (sub-slots) or take up 3 entire slots (VSS4) if they require the
processing power.
The Eect Rack can be found in the side bar menu and gives an overview of all the eect within the system. It can be added to the top bar menu by dragging it from
the Customise Toolbar menu.
