Exhaust system
ultraWAVE 3 has a built-in exhaust system. There is one
opening in the front panel. When opening the vessel, the
exhaust is switched on automatically and removes vapours and
gases.
Connect the exit port on the back side panel of the ultraWAVE 3
with the flexible hose (2 m long) to a fume hood or other
appropriate exhaust port.
Exhaust tube connection: Inside diameter 63 mm, External diameter: 71 mm.
Flow capacity of the exhaust in ultraWAVE 3: 110 m

The exit port acts also as outlet for the burst discs and the relief valve. The pipes connecting
the ventilation system to ultraWAVE 3 must be sized to avoid pressure stagnation in the event
of blowing of the burst disc or of the safety relief valve.
The valve may be used only in emergencies for
example for discharging the internal pressure in
case of black-out. In case of discharge in
emergency situations at higher temperatures and
with aggressive media, the valve may be attacked
by corrosion and should be immediately replaced
to ensure safe and trouble-free operation.
A flat screwdriver is required to open or close the
valve
This valve must be closed during the
normal operation of the unit.
