Introduce the PTFE vessel into the stainless steel
reactor.
Check that the Viton O-Ring (green o-ring) is into the
proper groove of the PTFE vessel.
Insert the sealing ring with the utmost
care as otherwise there could be
pressure leakages from the system.
If the O-Ring is somehow softened and
overlaps, replace it immediately with a
new one.
The base load must be replaced every run.
The base load could be different according to the Milestone application book or the Milestone
specialist indications.
Locking of the system and pressure loading should be accomplished as quickly as possible
after the introduction of the samples, to prevent foaming and/or gassing.
The load pressure automatically prevents over foaming.
Hang the rack on the system cover
