Transfer of Settings between Terminal and Interface
The system administration settings (see also Chapter on
System Administration
) are saved on the
terminal and the interface board. Only the settings in the control panel are exclusively saved on the
terminal.
Once the terminal is connected to the unit, the settings are transferred as follows:
• If there are no settings saved on the interface board, they are downloaded from the terminal to
the interface board.
• If settings are already saved on the interface board, then they are transferred from the interface
board to the terminal.
Only Milestone tested and released HP printers can be used. A list of printer models is
available on demand.
EEPROM
Internal storage area (32 KB): Data are kept also in case of black-out. EEPROM is reserved for trail,
methods and system settings.
USB pen drive (included)
The Terminal is already provided with a USB pen drive for data transfer.
•
Mobile Storage area:
USB pen drive is used to store sample
reports, and process runs. It can be used also with a
signature; in the terminal the USB pen drive follows the A:\
path.
•
Storage capacity
: the terminal is delivered with a USB pen
drive with min. 2 GB. All memory size can be used. Since the
files are very small, a few MB are enough.
It is the user's responsibility to save the microwave runs on a device (USB, Computer, Server)
validated by GMP, in order to preserve the integrity and reliability of the exported files.
The terminal can be connected to an external server by LAN RJ45 port
