• Fill the vessel with 150 mL of water as displacement volume.
• Lock pressure vessel and clamps.
• Load pressure of 40 bar.
• Start the program. The must be NO microwave emission (power: 0 W)
• Test the pressure decrease after the 15th minute. Pressure should be from the 15th minute until
the 45th minute max. 0.5 bar (0.5 bar/10 min).
• Save the measurement. If the leak test is not passed, the ultraWAVE 3 should be checked by the
Milestone Service.
Measures in case of fast pressure release
Fast pressure release occurs when the burst disc is broken by excess of pressure inside the pressure
vessel, or the valve needle of the pressure relief valve becomes abruptly leaky due to long wear.
In this case the system must be inspected by Milestone Service for possible damages.
Maintenance of High-pressure compressor (optional)
Check Oil Level
The oil level of the compressor must be checked once a month. The compressor is filled as standard with
special oil (available from Milestone).
Pull the oil level stick from the housing and clean it
with a piece of cloth.
Insert the stick completely into the opening, let it in
shortly and then pull it out again.
