Before each run check the presence of liquids (e.g. condensed water) in the steel tor. Dry any liquid droplets
before starting a new run.
Check eventual damages on the PTFE vessel after each run. In case of damages, the vessel
must be replaced before starting a new run.
Should appear humidity or drops on the vessel, this
is an indication that there is a pressure leak from
the vessel.
In this case replace the green viton o-ring of the
PTFE vessel with a new one.
Introduce a lamp in the PTFE vessel and pay
attention to eventual cracks or locks (recognizable
because they are in a darker colour).
Presence of small bubbles or white spots can appear on the PTFE vessel surface, after few
runs. This is normal and does not interfere with the operating of the instrument; it does
not have any consequences on the analytical data or on the vessel life-time.
After opening of the pressure vessel, all acid and chemical residues must be removed from the
cover.
