D.1.6 Inflection point
The CSD-709 can detect sharp changes in load using four inflection points.
Inflection point Detection point
A
The point at which application of load is initiated from the no-load
condition
B
The point at which the load reaches the peak in the load application
process
C The point at which the load is reduced from the peak
D
The point at which the no-load condition is established after
continuation of load reduction.
For example, the load change X between the start and end points of detection time A set to P
function PF-21 is subtracted from the load change Y between the start and end points of detection
time B set to P function PF-22, and the result is defined as value Z. When Z exceeds the detection
data width set to PF-20, point [a] is detected as inflection point A.
