I.4 Checking on Problems
If an unexpected operation occurs during the use of an RS-422/485 card, verify phenomena and
check-outs listed in the table below to take proper action.
Phenomenon Check-out
Communications are not
established.
Check whether the RS-422/485 cable is plugged in correctly.
Check whether the address number is correctly set.
Check the settings for the communication interface.
Check whether the command number and data are correctly
established.
The flow control is enabled on the host PC.
Check whether the change between RS-422 and RS-485 is
correctly set.
The return data delay in RS-485 is set to less than 1 ms.
Intended value is not output. Check the output target setting.
