6.2 Setting the comparison value
To use the comparator to compare the track or peak to preset values, set the comparison values to
be used. You can set up to three comparison values in the form of S0 to S2 to comparator brand
codes connected to calibration numbers 0 to 3. This time, the comparison values S0 to S2 are stored
to the connected calibration numbers, respectively. Therefore, it is necessary to select the calibration
number to be connected to the comparison value before the setting work. Described below are the
setting procedures for comparison values S0 to S2.
For calibration number change procedures, see 3.2, "Changing the calibration number".
1. Press once to display .
2. Press five times to change the display to .
3. Press .
The COMP selection mode is activated, and flashes.
Once the F key function is set to the COMP setting mode, you can shift to the COMP setting mode from
Measurement mode by simply pressing . For the setting procedures of the F key, see Section 7.7,
"Setting the F key operation".
4. Press .
The value currently set to S0 appears.
5. Using and , set the value of S0.
You can set any value between -99 999 and 99 999, which will be displayed in the load window.
For setting procedures with and , see Section 1.6, "Basic key operation".
6. Press .
7. Check that is flashing. Press to set the value of S1 in the same way as in Step
5, then press .
8. Check that is flashing. Press to set the value of S2 in the same way as in Step
5, then press .
9. Press twice to return to Measurement mode.
