3.5 Calibration based on input of numerical value
The calibration based on input of numerical value should be executed after you enter CCAL mode as
shown below. Set the decimal point display position, unit weight, and measuring weight, conduct a series
of subsequent setting procedures while pressing , and finally register the calibration data.
CAUTION
Before the numerical value input based calibration, check the calibration number to
be used. For the verification method of the calibration number, see Section 3.2,
"Changing the calibration number".
The strain-gage-based transducer is accompanied by the datasheet showing the
following parameter values. In numerical value input based calibration, the load
indicated in the "Capacity" column and voltage indicated in the "Rated output"
column are used for both measuring weight and span.

Display and set the unit weight to be
defined as the minimum scale.
Display and set the measuring weight to
be defined as the maximum measuring value.

s long as all conditions listed below are met, display
and enter the zero calibration data.
・
The CSD-709 being used is replaced with another CSD-709.
・
The zero calibration data (mV/V value) of the former CSD-709
is known.
・
It is not possible to establish a no-load condition (initial
condition including tare) for the measuring unit.
Display . Subtract the input from the measuring unit in the
zero calibration from the input from the measuring unit to which the load
equal to the set measuring weight is applied. Set this calculation result.
