External Control Voltage Input Type Circuit CSD-709-44
L.1 Connection
To use the voltage input type circuit for the external control input, the voltage should be applied
between the input and COM1 terminals for signal input. In this case, you must short-circuit or open
the path between these terminals using the external power supply voltage, contacts (e.g., relays
and/or switches), or contactless devices (e.g., transistors). In the voltage input type circuit, it is
possible to establish plus common or minus common connection. Shown below is the equivalent
circuit of the voltage input type circuit.
CAUTION
When signals are input with transistors, use the sink type for plus common
connections or the source type for minus common connections.
The voltage input type circuit features a maximum rated voltage of 27.6 VDC,
turn-on at or above 9 VDC (under an external power supply voltage of 24 VDC and
a load current of about 10 mA), and turn-off at or below 3 VDC.
