7.5 Confirmation with Check mode
(EzCTS, Version, Options,
Excitation voltage, External control input/output, Analog
output, BCD output, Monitor mode)
In the CSD-709, you can conduct the following operations after entering Check mode:
Changing the settings in the EzCTS mode
Checking the firmware version
Checking the option mounted in the CSD-709
Checking the excitation voltage
Checking the external control input
Checking the external control output
Checking the analog output
Checking the BCD output
Checking the current input in Monitor mode
CAUTION
You can check the analog output when the current output card or voltage output
card is mounted in the CSD-709.
You can check the BCD output when the BCD card is mounted in the CSD-709.
Described below are setting procedures for each of the above operations in Check mode.
7.5.1
Changing the settings in EzCTS mode
EzCTS is a personal computer application (option). The function data of CSD-709 can be easily
read-out and written with EzCTS. This software is useful for maintenance and back-up od data.
1. Press once to display .
2. Press four times to change the display to .
3. Press .
Check mode is activated, and the display changes to .
4. Press .
flashes, and EzCTS mode is activated.
In EzCTS mode, settings can be transferred between the CSD-709 and PC using the Ez
Communication Tool Software (EzCTS). For more information on EzCTS, see the [Ez
Communication Tool Software Instruction Manual].
POINT
In EzCTS mode, the CSD-709 does not send acknowledgments for commands not used in
EzCTS.
In EzCTS mode, only communications based on EzCTS are executed.
For more information on communications with the PC, see Section 10, "Communications via
USB".
When EzCTS is used in any mode other than EzCTS, error code 01 is sent from the CSD-709.
