4 Settings Related to Measurement
54
The CSD-709, by enabling the analog peak detection circuit, can avoid the delay induced by digital
processing. This time, you should set the analog filter to suppress noises contained in the inputs
from the measuring unit.
CAUTION
When the digital low-pass filter and moving average are incorrectly set, correct
measured values will not be generated and peripheral devices may be damaged as
a result.
4.2 Setting the AD sampling frequency
The measured value is transferred to the CSD-709 in the form of an analog signal. How many
sampling times the equipment executes in one second to convert analog signals into digital data is
called the [AD sampling frequency]. The AD sampling frequency is set to C function CF-02.
Described below are the AD sampling frequency setting procedures.
POINT
CSD-709’s comparator conversion frequency and the current and voltage output frequencies of
optional devices synchronize with the AD sampling frequency. For this reason, to change the
comparator conversion frequency, current output frequency, or voltage output frequency, change
the AD sampling frequency.
1. Press once to display .
2. Press once to change the display to .
3. Press .
The C function mode is activated, and the display changes to a two-digit numerical value
prefixed with [CF-].
4. Using and , change the numerical value to and press .
The number showing the current AD sampling frequency appears.
Number AD Sampling Frequency
0 40 times/s
1 400 times/s
2 4 000 times/s
2 (4 000 times/s)
For setting procedures with and , see Section 1.6, "Basic key operation".
