3.4 Calibration based on actual load
The calibration based on actual load should be executed after you enter CCAL mode as shown
below. Set the decimal point display position, unit weight, and measuring weight, conduct a series of
subsequent setting procedures while pressing , and finally register the calibration data.
CAUTION
When you intend to execute actual load based calibration, prepare a weight of at
least two-thirds of the measuring weight (maximum measuring value).
Before the actual load based calibration, check the calibration number to be used.
For the verification method of the calibration number, see Section 3.2, "Changing
the calibration number".

To execute calibration, enter CCAL mode.
Display and set the decimal point display
position.
Display and set the unit weight to be
defined as the minimum scale.
Display and set the measuring weight to
be defined as the maximum measuring value.
Display and set the weight mass used in
span calibration.
Display and set the zero point with a tare or
equivalent weight placed on the measuring unit.
Display and apply the load equivalent to the
set weight mass to the measuring weight to set the span.
With displayed, press to register
the calibration data.
