6.4 Setting the comparator hysteresis
To delay the open collector turn-on or turn-off timing by setting the data width or duration, you should
set the comparator hysteresis. Setting comparator hysteresis prevents chattering and other
undesirable phenomena in the photo MOS relay. You should set the comparator hysteresis using the
following three functions:
Function Setting details
F-24
Operating condition of comparator hysteresis
F-25
Data width of comparator hysteresis
F-26
Duration of comparator hysteresis
Described below are comparator hysteresis setting procedures.
CAUTION
The comparator hysteresis setting determines the on/off condition of the open
collector output. If the setting is incorrect, the on/off condition of the open collector
output will be incorrect, and peripheral devices may malfunction.
1. Press once to display .
2. Press .
The Function mode is activated, and the display changes to a two-digit numerical value prefixed
by [F-].
3. Using and , change the numerical value to , then press .
The number showing the currently set comparator hysteresis operating condition, "0" (ON delay)
or "1" (OFF delay), appears.
0 (ON delay)
For setting procedures with and , see Section 1.6, "Basic key operation".
4. Using , set the operating condition.
5. Press .
6. After confirming is displayed, press .
The data width of the currently set comparator hysteresis appears.
00
7. Using and , set the data width.
You can set any value between 00 and 99, which will be displayed in the load window.
8. Press .
