5.1 Setting the detection conditions
This section describes the procedures to set detection conditions. To set the detection conditions,
determine the detection condition number first. Then, set the detecting section and detecting
operation.
5.1.1 Detection condition number [PF-09]
The CSD-709 can store a combination of detecting section and detecting operation by using eight
detection condition numbers (0 to 7). You can select and use the desired number. The desired
detection condition number can be selected using P function PF-09. Before setting the detecting
section and detecting operation, you should determine the detection condition number to which each
combination of these parameters will be stored. Described below are the detection condition number
setting procedures.
1. Press once to display .
2. Press twice to change the display to .
3. Press .
The P function mode is activated, and the display changes to a two-digit numerical value
prefixed with [PF-].
4. Using and , change the numerical value to and press .
The currently set detection condition number appears.
0
For setting procedures with and , see Section 1.6, "Basic key operation".
5. Using , set the detection condition number.
Whenever is pressed, the detection condition number is cyclically changed from 0 to 7, in
ascending order.
6. Press .
7. Press twice to return to Measurement mode.
5.1.2 Setting the detecting section [PF-02]
Set the detecting section to P function PF-02. Described below are the detecting section setting
procedures.
