Connecting the power supply
The CSD-709 is classified into AC power type (standard) or DC power type (option). The power input
cable must be plugged in the power supply connector board. Described below are plug-in
procedures for the power supply.
CAUTION
Always ground the equipment. Failure to connect the grounding cable to the
CSD-709 may result in electric shock or equipment malfunction.
The power supply input for the AC power type equipment features voltage of 100 V
to 240 V and frequency of 50/60 Hz.
The power consumption is about 10 W (at 100 VAC)
The tightening torque of the set screw on the connector board is as follows.
Connector board Tightening torque
Power supply 0.6 N・m
The crimp terminal conforming to the connector board of the equipment is as
follows.
Connector board
Width of crimp
terminal
Conforming crimp terminal
Power supply 6.2 mm, max
O-type 1.25-3 or Y-type 1.25-3.5
For connection of power supply to the DC power type equipment, see Attachment M, "Power Supply
Voltage CSD-709-67".
1. Check that power is not applied to the cable.
2. Remove the two screws (L and N) from the power supply connector board. Also, remove one
screw from the protective ground connector.
3. Engage power cable terminals with the threaded holes and secure them with the screws.
