Lynx II DSA User's Manual – 7096089 95
Note: The Lynx II web application displays events from Memory group 1. If Compare
Spectra is checked in Preferences | Miscellaneous, data stored in Memory
group 2 are overlaid with group 1. To view separately or in more detail, please
use other applications like Genie-2000 which supports displaying multiple
Memory groups.
Gate Polarity
Sets the polarity of the gate input as Positive or Negative.
Gate Delay (µS)
The Gate Delay sets the time window available for the arrival of the qualifying gate pulse.
Recording of the event is delayed until the qualifying signal occurs or the window time
expires.
Refer to the individual Gate Mode settings above for additional information on the usage
of this setting.
Input Gate Delay (µS)
The Input Gate Delay applies a delay value in 0.1 µSec resolution to the external gate
pulse to define the gating pulse used by the gating logic. The width is applied beginning
with the leading edge of the external gate pulse.
Refer to the individual Gate Mode settings above for additional information on the usage
of this setting.
Input Pulse Width (µS)
The Input Pulse Width applies a width value in 0.1 µSec resolution to the external gate
pulse to define the gating pulse used by the gating logic. The width is applied beginning
with the leading edge of the gate pulse, however, the minimum pulse width used by the
gating logic is set by the width of the external gating pulse. Range is 0.1 to 10.0 µSec.
Refer to the individual Gate Mode settings above for additional information on the usage
of this setting.
