Step 3 - Configuring the Detector
The Configure Detector screen lets you enter an Input Name, Memory Groups, Number of
Channels, and Detector Type (this parameter is described in detail in Input Settings on
page 37).

The number of channels (Input Size) can be set here, and also changed at run-time,
however, please be aware that the setting here also imposes the upper limit at run-time.
For maximum flexibility at run-time, you can set the value here to maximum.
Steps 4, 5, and 6
You won’t see the screens for Steps 4, 5, and 6; these steps are not used when setting up a
Lynx II.
