[5] Counter Control
This machine contains the following counters.
C(T) (total counter)
C(K) (key counter)
These counters are controlled by the CB (control board).
PS25 (paper exit detection) is a signal related to this
control.
1. Operation
This machine counts copies by means of two software
counters.
(1) Paper feed counter
The count increases by 1 each time the 1st paper feed
goes ON.
(2) Paper exit counter
The count increases by 1 each time PS25 goes ON
OFF.

b. C(K)
This counter counts in synchronism with the paper exit
counter.

b. Output signals
(1) OB1 TXD (CB1 → OB1)
32-bit serial data which informs OB1 of the operation
status of the machine that is known to CB1.
(2) OB1 RTS (CB1 → OB1)
Signal which indicates that data is being sent from CB1
to OB1.
When this signal is [H], OB1 stops sending the OB1
RXD signal.
(3) OB1 DTR (CB1 → OB1)
Received verification signal which is returned each
time one byte of data has been received, when CB1 is
receiving data from OB1.
(4) SD LE DRIVE (CB1 → OB2)
LCD backlight ON/OFF control signal
(5) W.T. LE DRIVE (CB1 → OB2)
Weekly timer ON/OFF control signal
