ONFIGURING SOFTKEYS SOFTKEY DISPLAY BEHAVIOR
In the Mitel Web UI, the operational states for each softkey display as enabled. To disable a state, simply
uncheck the box for the respective state.
Softkey Display Behavior
On the 6930 IP phone, you can configure up to 44 (top) and 24 (bottom) functions on the softkeys. By
default, if you have no softkeys configured on the IP phone, and you assign softkey functions to higher
number keys in the Mitel Web UI, the key functions automatically appear in the first available position on
the LCD display.
For example, if top softkeys 1 through 44 are set to None, and you set the top softkey 12 as the following:

after saving the settings, the “Home” label actually appears in position 1 of the LCD.
A softkey function of Nonedoes not display on the Home screen at all.

displayed on the phone:
