SLITTER ERROR
Cause
• Slitter sensor is defective
• Slitter positioning motor is defective
• Main PWB unit is defective
Problem detected
1. Light did not transmit to the slitter sensor when temporarily shifting inward 8 mm to detect the home
position while the slitter sensor was shielded from light and the command to move the slitter was issued.
2. The slitter did not return to the predetermined position within the specified time period (refer to the table
below) after the command to move the slitter was issued.
