Overview
Overview
Using the Ethernet connector or RS-232C connector of the Controller, you can
communicate digitally with external devices such as a personal computer or
programmable controller. Compared to linear output, you can obtain high resolution, highly
stable measurement data.
Communication with external devices using Ethernet or RS-232C is performed in RUN or
TEACH mode. Communication cannot be performed in FUN mode. Also, when a system
error occurs, the Sensor Controller receives a command externally, but does not execute
the setting commands.
Ethernet Communication
The Controller can be connected to a personal computer, and the settings can be changed
from the personal computer using Smart Monitor ZW. In addition, the measurement can be
monitored on the personal computer
Also, communication can be performed using non-procedural commands.
