5. Assemble the reverse shaft assembly and input shaft
assembly if previously disassembled (see
illustrations).

6. Install the idler shaft assembly

transmission housing, all at the same time.
7. Install the differential assembly

. Rotate differential
assembly to align slots with engagement dog. Ensure
bearing is fully seated upon assembly.
8. Assemble shift shaft rail if previously disassembled.
NOTICE
Both shift forks need to be orientated the same way, so
that the shift fork pins are both offset to the same side
of the rail.
