April 8, 2003 (973) 334-3100
16.6.1 DISPLAYING PROGRAMMING HELP
To see a list of all programming commands, use the "H" command.
9780TxRx-P>H [ENTER]
When you invoke the "H" command, the programming menu shown in Figure 16-5 will re-appear on
your screen.
16.6.2 LEAVING THE PROGRAMMING MODE
Whenever you are finished programming the RFL 9780, use the "Q" command:
9780TxRx-P>Q [ENTER]
The "Q" command tells the RFL 9780 to leave the programming mode and return to the normal
"9780TxRx>" prompt. If you changed any setting while in the programming mode, be sure to use the
"SV" command described above to save the changes before invoking the "Q" command; otherwise,
your changes will be lost.
16.6.3 SAVING NEW PROGRAMMING SETTINGS
The "SV" command saves any new settings you made while in the programming mode:
9780TxRx-P>SV [ENTER]
The "SV" command tells the RFL 9780 to store all the changes in its non-volatile memory. Once the
changes are stored, the "9780TxRx-P>" prompt will reappear.
Before you enter the "SV" command, the RFL 9780 operates according to the old parameter settings.
Once the "SV" command is entered, the new settings will be in effect.
The new parameter settings can be verified by re-issuing the "D" command to display the parameter
settings list. (For more information on the "D" command, go to paragraph 16.7.4.)
NOTE
Before leaving the Programming Mode, use the “SV” command or your changes
will be lost.
