8. Wind the ribbon clockwise around the empty ribbon core and attach the free end of
the ribbon to the ribbon core with adhesive tape (8).
9. Turn the ribbon rewind spindle (3) clockwise for several rounds to wind the ribbon
while removing the slack from the ribbon.
10. If the media is already loaded, turn the head lock lever (2) counterclockwise to lock
the print head.
11. Close the top cover.
