6.3 Unassembled system plug
Important information
NOTE
Exper
ience has shown that 20 to 30 cm of cable reserve on the safety laser scanner is
ideal. This prevents the system plug from accidentally being plugged into an adjacent
safety laser scanner and putting a safety laser scanner with an incorrect configuration
into operation. You can easily exchange the safety laser scanner with the cable reserve
if needed.

Keep the cable reserve short enough that the system plug cannot accidentally be
plugged into an adjacent safety laser scanner.

ou can also purchase the safety laser scanner with pre-assembled system plugs with
various lengths of cable.
System plug
T
he system plug has cable entries for cable glands on the base and top. The number of
cable entries and cable glands differs depending on the variant.

•
1 cable entry with M16 cable gland
•
1 cable entry without M16 cable gland (blind plug)
•
2 cable entries without M12 cable gland (blind plug)
