7.7 Incremental encoder
The S300 Professional and the S300 Expert have two dual-channel dynamic control
in
puts using which the possible monitoring cases can be switched depending on the
speed.
Incremental encoders must be connected to the dynamic control inputs for this pur‐
pose. Per incremental encoder, one 0°/90° output is required so that the direction of
travel can be determined.
To use the inputs A and B as dynamic control inputs, select the Indicate velocity option.
