Relay reaction
The way in which relay programming reacts to the fail-safe level depends on Relay Fail-safe
(2.8.2.3.) (Page 201). By default:
Alarm relays have Relay Fail-safe (2.8.2.3.) (Page 201
) =
OFF
and so react to the
Material Level.
Control relays have Relay Fail-safe (2.8.2.3.) (Page 201) =
De-energize
and so de-
energize the relay when the unit enters Fail-safe mode regardless of the Material Level.
