7.4.5.5 Example 2: write parameters (multi-parameter request)
Requirements
The PROFIdrive controller has been commissioned and is fully operational.
PROFIdrive communication between the controller and the device is operational.
The controller can read and write data sets in conformance with PROFIdrive DPV1.
Task description
ON command and enable are to be set up via the input terminals of the CUD. A parameter
request is to be used to write the corresponding parameters as follows:
BI: p0840 = r53010.0
ON/OFF1
BI: p0852 = r53010.6
Enable operation
CI: p55050 = r52401
Fixed value 1 as current setpoint filter
p50401 = 80 %
Set fixed value 1 to 80
%
The request is to be handled using a request and response data block.

To establish BICO interconnections, the target parameters (p0840, p0852, p55050) are
transferred a reference to the source parameters (r53010.0, r53010.6, r52401):
Source parameter number
Drive object number
Index num-
ber
Parameter value (DINT)
for BICO interconnec-
tion
r53010 2 (in the example,
DCP_CTRL)
0 CF12 0800 hex
r53010 2 (in the example,
DCP_CTRL)
6 CF12 0806 hex
r52401 2 (in the example,
DCP_CTRL)
0 CCB1 0800 hex
DINT
Bits 31 ... 16
Bits 15 ... 10
Bits 9 ... 0
Using drive object No. 63, a drive object can only be interconnected with itself. More detailed
information is provided in Chapter "BICO technology: Interconnecting signals (Page 164)".
