6.4 Activating function modules
For SINAMICS drives, extended functions can be activated as function modules.
Through activation, the parameters of the corresponding functionalities are also displayed.
Function modules can be individually activated/deactivated on every drive object.
For SINAMICS DCP, the following subfunctions are available as function modules.
● Free function blocks
● PROFINET interface
