Monitoring the fan service life
The planned service life is set at p55471, the factory setting is 30000 h.
500 h before the planned service life expires, alarm A60510 is output.
It is recommended that the fans are replaced at the next interruption in operation.
By setting the service life to zero (p55471 = 0.0 h), the monitoring of the fan service life is
switched off.
By setting p55472 to 1, the operating hours counter is reset to 0. This should be performed
after every fan replacement.
See also the SINAMICS DCP List Manual, function diagram 6845.
Instructions on how to replace fans are provided in Chapter "Replacing the fans (Page 419)".
7.14 Derating
As a result of the physical relationships, depending on the installation altitude and the
ambient temperature, the current, the power and the overvoltage range must be limited.
This reduction is called "derating."
The derating affects the current and power limiting (see function diagram 6810).
Available continuous current
The device limits the available continuous current depending on the parameterized
installation altitude as well as the air intake and power unit temperatures.
The limits according to installation altitude and temperature are superimposed; this means
that if the current has already been reduced due to the installation altitude, it is reduced even
further as a result of an increased internal air intake temperature, for example.
Reducing the available continuous current as a function of the installation altitude
For an installation altitude (p55100) above 2000 m, the available continuous current is
reduced by 7.5 % / 1000 m.
