7.1.2.1 General information on the BOP20
With the BOP20, the SINAMICS DCP can be switched on and off for commissioning
purposes and parameters can be displayed and modified. Faults can be diagnosed as well
as acknowledged.

Top left
2 digits
The active drive object of the BOP is displayed here.
The displays and key operations always refer to this drive object.
RUN Is displayed when the SINAMICS DCP is in the RUN state (operation).
RUN is also displayed via bit r0899.2.
Top right
2 digits
The following is displayed in this field:
• More than 6 digits: Characters that are still present but invisible (e.g. "r2" ––> 2 characters to
the right are invisible, "L1" ––> 1 character to the left is invisible)
• Designation of BICO inputs (bi, ci)
• Designation of BICO outputs (bo, co)
• Source object of a BICO interconnection to a drive object different than the active one.
S Is displayed if at least one parameter was changed, and the value was not transferred into the
non-volatile memory.
P
Is displayed if, for a parameter, the value only becomes effective after pressing the P key.
C Is displayed if at least one parameter was changed and the calculation for consistent data man-
agement has still not been initiated.
Bottom 6 digits
Displays parameters, indices, faults and alarms.
For certain user actions (e.g. restore factory setting) a two-digit number is displayed on the
BOP20. This number provides information about the SINAMICS DCP state. The meaning of
these numbers is provided in Chapter "BOP20 status display during ramp-up (Page 120)".
