7.5.2 PROFIBUS connection
Electric shock when connecting with voltage present
When connecting the PROFIBUS cable with voltage present, there is a danger of coming
into contact with live components behind the connection point.
Touching live components can result in death or serious injury.
• Only connect the PROFIBUS cable to connector X126 when the unit is in a de-
energized state.
Position of PROFIBUS connection and diagnostics LEDs
The PROFIBUS connection and diagnostics LEDs are located on the Control Unit (CUD).
The PROFIBUS connection is via a 9-pin Sub-D socket (X126). The connections are
electrically isolated.
See also Chapter "Description of the LEDs on the CUD (Page 362)".
