1.5 Notes on plant safety
Requirements
The operating company is responsible for the plant safety.
Verify that the following conditions are satisfied:
● Basic planning as well as all the work involved in transporting, assembling, installing,
commissioning, maintaining repairing the equipment is only carried out by qualified
personnel or by those skilled technicians responsible.
● The entire product documentation must always be available for all of the work that is
performed.
● Technical data and specifications regarding the permissible installation, connection,
environmental, and operating conditions are observed consistently.
● All system-specific installation and safety regulations are observed and measures are
taken to ensure personal safety.
● It is prohibited for unqualified persons to work on these devices or in their vicinity.
Note
Grounding of the negative pole (N1, N2)
It is not necessary
to ground the negative pole (N1, N2).
This is applicable for the 30 kW device from product version 02.

Insulation resistance of the SINAMICS DCP 30 kW device
The insulation resistance of the SINAMICS DCP 30
kW device is approximately 500 kΩ.
