WARNING
Electric shock when using a SINAMICS DCP to provide SELV, FELV, PELV
The power circuit of the DCP is not suitable for generating functional extra low voltages
(SELV, FELV) or protected extra low voltages (PELV).
This can result in death or severe injury when used for this purpose.
• Do not use the power circuit of the SINAMICS DCP to generate functional extra low
voltages (SELV, FELV) or protected extra low voltages (PELV).
Note
Test in accordance with safety standard EN 61800-5-1
The safety requirements, including protection against electric shock, are tested for
SINAMICS
DCP at the device level according to standard EN 61800-5-1 – where applicable.

No validity for the manufacturer's declaration for SINAMICS DCP
The manufacturer's declaration issued by SIEMENS for SINAMICS converters (see
https://support.i
ndustry.siemens.com/cs/ww/de/view/109476638) is not applicable for
SINAMICS
DCP.
Note
Polarity reversal is not possible
SINAMICS
DCP only supports positive voltages at sides 1 and 2, i.e. the voltage at terminal
P1 or P2 must always be higher than the
voltage at terminals N1 or N2.
