● Undervoltage:
The system monitors as to whether the PV array field voltage falls below a limit that can
be parameterized.
In this case, in the next search interval, a current reduction factor (p54007) is applied to
the current setpoint at the output of the MPP tracker (r54020), and therefore reduced.
This function allows the MPP tracker to respond more quickly, e.g., if the solar panel
becomes shaded by clouds.
This signal can be interconnected using BICO, and in the factory setting, is logically
combined with r55125.11 (lower voltage limit side 2 reached).
It can also be interconnected with user-defined signals, for example, to already activate
the function at higher voltages.
●
Recording the PV array characteristic:
In addition to the global maximum, the PV array characteristic can also manifest local
maximum points.
In order that the MPP algorithm does not remain permanently at one of these local
maximum points, the PV array characteristic should be regularly measured with the actual
solar radiation.
If p54030.0 = 1 (PV array characteristic recording time-controlled) is set, after switching
on the MPP tracker, the characteristic is passed through as completely as possible at
regular intervals (p54035), and from this measurement the global power maximum (MPP
of the PV array) determined.
If p54030.1 = 1 (PV array characteristic recording at the search range limits) is set, then
when the search range limits are reached, the characteristic recording is started (see
description of p54037 in the "SINAMICS DCP List Manual ").
Commissioning
1. Default settings
The following BICO connections are required to operate the MPP tracker, independent of the
PV array type or the side of the DCP to which it is connected:
p54014[0] = r0899.11
p54014[2] = r55125.7
(PV flying restart active)
p55050 = r54021
