Operation
7.22 Connecting several SINAMICS DCPs in parallel
SINAMICS DCP
408 Operating Instructions, 09/2019, A5E34382853K
Note
Before activating the pa
rallel interface (i.e. before setting p51800 > 0), a unique station
address must be set at p51806 for all SINAMICS DCMs.
If this is not done, then the parallel interface will not reliably start.
Remedy if this does occur. Switch the electronic power supply
(POWER ON) of the
device group off and on.
In the slave, the switch
-on commands of the master (r53310.2, r53310.3) must be
connected with the enable signals of the slave (p0840, p0852).
Otherwise, the slave will not be able to be switched on via the paral
lel interface.
Further, the slave must have valid operating conditions, e.g. no OFF2 (p0844
= 1,
p0845
= 1) and no OFF3 (p0848 = 1, p0849 = 1).
Monitoring functions
The master of a group of parallel devices monitors the behavior of the slaves as follows:
Monitoring the slaves for a fault condition
If a slave connected to the parallel interface transitions into the fault state o11
(r50000 = 11.0), fault F60044, fault value 1 is initiated at the master.
Monitoring the slaves for shutdown
If a slave connected to the parallel interface was in operation o0 (r50000 = 0.0, 0.1,
0.2), and without being requested by the master, transitions into another operating
state > o0, i.e. is shut down, then fault F60044, fault value 2 is initiated at the master.
Monitoring the operating feedback signal of the slaves
When switching on a group of devices connected in parallel, within the monitoring time
(p51807[1]) slaves must signal back operating state o0 (r50000 = 0.0, 0.1, 0.2).
Otherwise, fault F60044, fault value 3 is initiated at the master.
In addition to these monitoring functions, communication via the parallel interface is
monitored in general.
A communication failure/error is indicated using r53310.0 and r53310.1, and in the factory
setting (p51808 = r53310.0) fault F60014 is initiated.
The default response to faults F60014 and F60044 is a shutdown via OFF2.
