Field or control Description
Specify Server Sets how you specify the server location; by server Name or IP address.
Server Name The server name is associated with the remote drive. Double-tap the field and enter the server name.
Server IP Address The IP address of the server. Tap the field and enter the network drive's IP address.
Path The path to the network drive. Double-tap the field and enter the network drive path information.
User Name If the drive you are mounting is password-protected, use this field to enter the user name associated
with the drive. Double-tap the field and enter the user name.
Password If the drive you are mounting is password-protected, use this field to enter the password associated
with the drive. Double-tap the field and enter the password.
Domain/Workgroup Sets the Domain/Workgroup of the intranet for the network drive.
Verbose Tap the Verbose checkbox to get more information in the log file. Default is unchecked.
Cancel Closes the menu without taking any action.
OK Submits the drive access information to the network drive server. If successful, the menu is dismissed,
a confirmation message is displayed, and the drive is added to the Drive column of file menus that
access drives.
If not successful, the menu remains on screen and an error message is displayed. Use the error
message to resolve the login problem.
TekDrive
Drive Name Enter the required drive name for mounting.
Auto Disconnect Select to configure the duration for the TekDrive connection to be active for usage.
• PowerCycle: Select to unmount the T
ekDrive after power cycling the oscilloscope. There is no
time restriction when this option is chosen.
• Never: Select to mount the TekDrive connection permanently.
• Custom: Select to disconnect the TekDrive after a chosen duration.
The default selected is PowerCycle.
Time Enter the required time for the Auto Disconnect. The mounted TekDrives gets disconnected
automatically from the instrument after the specified time.
Available only when Auto Disconnect = Custom.
Restrict connection to current
IP Address
Select to enable the restriction of connection to the current IP address. This is performed for security
purposes.
Enabled checkbox setting is recommended.
When the checkbox is disabled, the application displays the error: "This setting is recommended,
because it restricts TekDrive access to the current public IP Address making your data secure and
inaccessible if the device moves to a new network location."
Connect to TekDrive Select to confirm all the configured settings and connect to the TekDrive.
Code activation controls
Cancel Select to close the menu without performing any action and does not connect to the new TekDrive.
Back Select to take you to the previous menu giving an opportunity before connection, to reconfigure all the
input control settings to connect to the TekDrive.
