6. Enter the network host name or IP address of the Linux mount point or Windows PC or server in the Server Name or Server IP
Address field. Example: ACME-PC0205
7. Enter the path to the location of the mount point or shared directory of the server in the Path field.
Linux example: /opt/testing/batch1 (Linux requires forward slashes in path definitions. Linux assumes that the path starts at the root
directory

8. If access to this network location is controlled, enter the required information in the User Name, Password, and Domain/Workgroup
fields.
9. Tap OK. The oscilloscope mounts the drive and adds the specified drive letter to the Drive column in the File Utilities menu.
The oscilloscope displays an error message if it cannot mount the drive. Work with your organization's IT resource to verify that the
access information is correct and to resolve the network access problems.
CAUTION: The Linux ScopeApp does not support SMB version 1.0 for CIFS network mounts.
Mount TekDrive
T
ekDrive is a collaborative T&M data workspace provided with the purchase a supported Tektronix product.
Before you begin
You must have internet connectivity access to perform this procedure.
Browse to drive.tekcloud.com, register, and create a new account.
The TekDrive mount feature is supported on 2 Series MSO instruments.
The maximum upload file size limit to TekDrive is restricted to 25 GB.
When the TekDrive is enabled, you cannot copy and paste for files and folders in the TekDrive.
In some scenarios, recalling the files from the TekDrive is not supported and you will not see it listed in the file browser, but you can
continue recalling the file through USB/Network or Local drives. For example, Math Filter files cannot be recalled/applied from the Math
advanced menu if it is stored in the TekDrive.
When a TekDrive is unmounted or auto-disconnected, the waveform files activated from it would continue to work until you recall the
defaults, run TekSecure®, or change the reference waveform file.
About this task
Use TekDrive to upload, store, organize, search, download, and share arbitrary files from any connected device. Use the following
procedure to mount (map) a TekDrive.
Procedure
1. Tap File > File Utilities.
2. Tap Mount to open the Mount Drive menu.
3. Select the TekDrive button under Drive Type
4. Enter the Drive Name.
5. Select the required Auto Disconnect option.
6. Tap Connect to TekDrive to display the window with the QR and numeric code for TekDrive activation.
7. Browse to drive.tekcloud.com/activate to login using your credentials and enter the numeric code displayed in the Mount Drive window.
Register and create a new account if you are a new user.
A message is displayed when activation is successful.
8. After activation, click OK, mount Tekdrive to complete the mounting process.
